For Felicity and my classmates
Hello to everybody! Here is my blog. Well, to tell you the truth I am not really inspired right now. I would like to delight you with a poem or a beautiful prose like Shakespeare, Goethe or our admired Cervantes. I regret, but now I am not in the mood.
Hopefully my English will be better by the next time. In fact, English has always being my favourite foreign language. You can communicate and have contact with anyone in the world if you speak this "global" language. And I adore this possibility; no frontiers, no barriers for knowing another cultures, people and countries. I think you enjoy more your life being open-minded. You can learn a lot from another people and you can show some positive aspects of your culture too. I think we are not so different from "them". We are all human beings; we have all similar dreams and aims in our lifes. Everyone wants to be happy, do what he or she likes (and do better), offer the world her or his best and have truly emotional experiences that allow her or him to become a better person. We all want living special moments and fighting bad moments with an smile and appropiated decisions along our "short" lifes.
I don't hate anything about English as a language. English is easy. Music and letters in English sound "neutral". They sound simply good. I hate just some English people, when they do not try to understand you or to speak another language, just because they think everyone in the world has the "must" of speaking fluently English. But this attitude have also people from another countries, so it is not "English" fault.
Finally, I would like to add that I founded really interesting both textes about English origins. I didn't know that English has this strongly Danish past. Now I feel a little bit better; so it is true, that Scandinavian people learn English fast and speak perfect English. Ok, that is comprehensible, when you realize a great part of English pronounciation has an Scandinavian origen! Ok, that's all for today. I hope you have still a nice week and a lot of fun this weekend.
Hugs and kisses. Take care, Lydia
PS. Sorry for my faults. I tend to think in German (and, of course, in Spanish. LOL!) Please, forgive me.

Dear Carla,
AntwortenLöschenI am terribly sorry! But, you know, my dad uses my PC and therefore a lot of things are in German (so he was educated in Germany, but could not learn English while he was still in the school - they do not teach it there still). Anyway, you haven't write anything, so I am not able to write in your blog. What a pity! This isn't fair. You could answer me, but I am not able to answer you properly. Ok, I hope you are doing well. Take care, Carla! Lydia
Hey lydia,
AntwortenLöschenthanks for the entries, informative and funny! I am sorry to hear you were not feeling inspired but it happens to all of us sometimes! Anyway, you write very well and I'm glad you feel so positive about English! A few mistakes, but no big ones!
Keep it up!

Hello buddies! Here goes my correction, or better said Felicity's correction of the text above;
AntwortenLöschenAnd I adore this possibility: no frontiers, no barriers for knowing other cultures, people and countries. I think you enjoy your life more being open-minded. (...) We all want to live special moments and to fight against bad moments with an smile and appropriated decisions along our "short"lives.

Finally, I would like to add that I founded both texts about English origins really interesting.
